Is saying "thank you" passe'?
Do people find it unnecessary to say thank you these days?
I have given several gifts over the past couple months and not only have I not received thank you's in most cases there was no acknowledgment.
For me, there has been times where I could not get a thank you off immediately but I bought time by making a phone call. I insist that my children write thank you's also.
I will be willing to understand not receiving a written note, but no acknowledgment?
