I have been running regularly for about a month and a half and I still do not like it. I was told running is addictive. Well, I am not addicted. I have figured out though, that (for me) it is more of a mental endurance than a physical one.
I never was able to stick to running before because of the repetitiveness nature. I get easily bored with a fitness routine and always needed something that changed movement. In an activity such as kick-boxing, the movements change and in my mind I know if I do not like a particular move it will soon change. With running it is the same move over and over. So, I need to set my mind in a different way. I need my mind to be ahead of my body.
